If you don't succeed, try and try again, right? Seems comedian Ricky Gervais has taken that adage and used it well as a third time host of the Golden Globe Awards. And he seems to have gotten it right. The first time he was criticised for being 'too warm' to celebs in attendance. Last year, folks thought he was too acidic. This year, he got it right.
And he also managed to make peace after insulting Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie for The Tourist during last year's ceremony. He asked Depp: "Have you seen 'The Tourist' yet?" "Uh, no," the actor replied. That's it, controversy done and dusted. We can all move on now.
